Membership

1. Membership Dues: Adults (18 & +) $20 each

Children (17 -7) $10 each

Under 6 years of age Free

2. The membership period will be one year, and will begin on 1 September and end on 31 August.

3. Guests of an ASC member residing outside the Aviano AB community will be allowed to sign up for a maximum of one ski trip when accompanied by a club member.

3a. Individuals who are eligible for membership in the ASC as outlined in the Constitution, must be a member of the ASC in order to attend a sponsored event. Membership may be purchased at the same time as trip sign up.

Trip sign ups

1. A minimum deposit of fifty dollars will be required for a member to be placed on a trip list.

2. A deposit of more than fifty dollars may be imposed if required by the hotel where reservations are made.

3. Minors (less than 18) will be allowed on club trips with their parents/guardians. If no parent/guardian is on the trip then an adult (21) must have power of attorney and accept full responsibility for the minor.

4. Trip spaces are the property of the club and are NOT negotiable nor transferable to other members. Only Board Members are authorized to transfer members.

5. A full deposit will be required to be allowed on the waiting list.

Trip payment

1. Payment of the deposit and final payment will be made to the trip captain and be in cash (dollars) or personal check made out to the Aviano Ski Club.

2. Date of final payment will be determined by the trip coordinator.

3. Members failing to make the full payment by the date stated will be removed from the confirmed list and considered as a cancellation.

4. Members moved from the waiting list to the confirmed list after the date of final payment are required to pay immediately.

Refunds

1. Only the executive board may approve refunds. The trip captain is NOT authorized to provide a refund.

2. A club member who cancels and wishes a refund will make the request in writing to the executive board.

3. Refunds will be based on the hotel cancellation charge minus $10 for ASC administrative costs.

4. A full refund will be provided to persons on the waiting list who could not be placed on the confirmed list by the trip captain.

5. A full refund will be provided to all members in the event of trip cancellations made by the Aviano Ski Club.

Trip Captain Payment

1. Trip Captains will be paid $5.00 per person atttending the trip.

2. If there are sufficient people going on the trip for the hotel to award a free space/room, the Trip Captain will receive it for their own in addition to the $5 per person.
